Construction of on-line computer simulated experiments

This page will allow you to construct on-line computer simulated experiments. Refer to
Schwarz, C. J. (2003). An online system for teaching the design of experiments.
for full details.

How to create an online interactive experimental design

  1. Create an ascii file on your home machine according to the file format listed here.
  2. Copy the file into the clipboard and paste into the input box below.
  3. Press the submit button.
  4. A web page will be returned with your constructed design.
  5. Save this web page in a location accessible by your students
No error checking is done on the input file so if things don't work out it may be due to a formatting error

Here are some sample files for you to try:

  1. Scents on time to complete a maze - 1 factor (scent).
  2. Scents on time to complete a maze - 2 factors (scent, gender).
  3. Scents on time to complete a maze - 3 factors (scent, gender, smoking) Incomplete block design .

Please contact Carl Schwarz if you run into problems.

Paste the commands in the box below and then press SUBMIT. Beware of caching on your browser if you are creating or testing a design.

After pressing submit, it may take up to 30 seconds for a response
