Confidentiality of marks in Math 252

We take the following steps to ensure your confidentiality, while at the same time providing you with regular information regarding your progress:

Homework:

Marked homework can be picked-up in your tutorials. Please record your name, course, and assignment number on the front page of your homework. Record your student number on the back of this page. Your marks will also be recorded on the back of this page. This will decrease the likelihood that someone else will obtain your student number or your marks.

Posting of Marks:

Your marks will be posted regularly to the Math 252 Web Conference. The posting will not show your names - only the last 5 digits of your student ID numbers. Furthermore, only current members of the class have access to the Math 252 Web Conference.

Mid-Term Exam Pickup:

You will need to show your SFU ID card to the Teaching Assistant in your tutorial session in order to pick up your mid-term exam.

Final Exam Viewing:

You may not keep your final exam, but you will be able to view it in my office upon presentation of your SFU ID card.

Alternate Arrangements:

The following alternate arrangements can be made:

If you wish to make any of these alternate arrangements, please notify me in writing.
