CLAW FAQ - How do I access my grades?

Your assignment grades and mid-term exam grades are posted on the Web using GradeBook, developed by the School of Computing Science at SFU.

When you try to enter GradeBook, you will be asked for a User Name and Password. Your User Name is the same as your Campus Computing Account name. By default, your password is your student ID number (all 9 digits with no space). You may change your password within GradeBook.

GradeBook allows you to view only your own marks, thus protecting your privacy. However, GradeBook also allows you to plot histograms of the mark distributions so you can see how you are doing compared to the rest of the class.

Security Notice: If you are using GradeBook on a computer which other people have access to (such as in the CLAW), make sure you quit the Web browser when you are done, otherwise the next person to use the computer may be able to see your marks. It is also a good idea to clear the disk cache.
