Math 314 Lecture 35: Monday, November 29th 1999.
Today, we solved the full problem of the vibrating circular membrane,
including theta-dependence. The genaral solution turned out to be
complicated double-sum involving Bessel Functions. The normal modes
of oscillation of the circular membrane, including angular dependence, were
animated in Maple,
using 3-Dimensional animations.
