Staple these Maple Exercises to the end of all your handwritten work.
- Section 11.6
(See the posted Quadric Surfaces in Maple.
- Plot a hyperboloid of 1 sheet whose axis is the x-axis. The axes should be in standard
form with the z-axis vertical.
- Plot a hyperboloid of 2 sheets whose axis is the y-axis. As before, the axes should be
in standard form with the z-axis vertical.
- Plot a hyperbolic paraboloid whose axis is the x-axis. Again, the z-axis should be vertical.
- Plot a parabolic cylinder whose cylindrical axis is the x-axis. (And, of course, the
z-axis must be the vertical one.)
