Maple Exercises:
[See the posted Double Riemann Sums and Double
Integration Maple Worksheet.]
Instructions for the Maple Exercises:
- Staple these Maple Exercises to the end of all your handwritten work.
- Write explanations in your Maple work, describing what you are doing and why. Don't just
hand-in a string of Maple computations with no explanation. The explanations can either
be written by hand, or by using "text" within Maple (just click on the "T" in the toolbar).
- Clearly label each Maple problem.

[Use the method illustrated in the posted Double Riemann Sums and Double
Integration Maple Worksheet. Evaluate the double Reimann Sums on
a 5 by 5 grid, a 10 by 10 grid, and on a 15 by 15 grid, rather than on the
grids listed in the textbook version of the problem. Compare the answers
to that obtained using Maple's "evalf(int(int(...)))" commands. Plot the 3-D histogram
for each grid and compare to surface obtained using "plot3d".]
