Please note the following
-
You must present your student ID card, or
a passport, or a driver's license.
-
You may
bring two pages of handwritten notes;
-
We will give you again a
formula sheet, which is
basically the same as the one for midterm 2,
with a couple of additional formulas.
-
For each question you must indicate how you
obtain your answer. You may lose points if your
work is not presented clearly.
-
partial credit is only guaranteed for questions or parts of
questions where the phrase "SHOW (YOUR) WORK" occurs
-
where "SHOW (YOUR) WORK" appears full credit will only be given if
what is written convinces the markers that a correct method has
been used
-
some partial credit may be offered for answers to questions where
"SHOW (YOUR) WORK" does not appear; all students will be treated
equally in this respect but it is not possible to be more precise
about this until the marking of the exam is complete
-
you cannot expect credit for answers which are the correct answers
to different questions.
-
when you are asked to stop writing, it is important that you
immediately do so. If you continue to write, a substantial
penalty may be imposed!
