Term Project
Due: Monday, December 6, 2004 IN CLASS
Term project handout.
Project Presentations
On Monday, December 6, students will be chosen randomly to present
the work they did in their project in class. Each student in each
group must be prepared to
deliver the presentation. You may wish to prepare some slides, or a brief
presentation on the computer. If you choose the latter, bring a USB memory key
or portable disk, or a CD with your presentation.
Presentation of your written work
Hand in an 8½" x 11"
booklet, stapled in the upper left corner. Structure your
paper like a report, with title, abstract or
"executive summary" or "technical summary",
overview of the methods used, description of the building blocks.
Describe the basic structure of your programs, and include the
program listings in an appendix. Present your numerical
results in condendsed form, using tables and/or graphs.
Include pictures and plots where appropriate.
You MUST keep your report to at most 15 pages
(including appendices, etc.), using a minimum of 11pt
(or 10cpi) size print.
Programs
Use double precision.
Write your programs
in modular form (easier to debug, and easier to
reuse bits and pieces). Include plots.
You only need to hand in your report.
Warning
There will be deductions if you hand in more than 15 pages.
No late projects will be accepted.
