Finite Differences and Spectral Methods
These are all the chapters. I am not certain we will cover all
the material, so print the chapters as we go along.
Unfortunately, there has been a problem with the previously posted
notes on Chapter 2 and Chapter 3: Some figures were missing (they were
actually floated to the end of the document). The current version
has the figures at the right locations.
I have also added a table of contents.
Please note that your project makes reference to the notes as
contained in the files below.

introduction to some of the basic MATLAB features.
