Math 314 Homework Assignment 06

• Section 2.6:
  • Solve the convection problem discussed in section 2.6 using the following initial condition:
    
    
  • Plot the solutions in Maple. (Assume h = 1, kappa = 1, k = 1, a = 1, T0 = 100, T1 = 200.)

  • Do the plots for three cases: T2 = 0, T2 = 150, T2 = 300.

  • For each of the three cases, sum the first 20 terms of the series and plot for at least 10 values of t on a u versus x graph.
