Workopolis.com |
Here you can create your own
database which can store up to 10 different resumes, your job searches and
job lists. With this page you can also create a special career alerts
which select from the entire database job postings that could be of interest to you.
I found www.workopolis.com the
most effective career webpage so far, even though I have exactly the same
resume posted on couple of websites, the one on this page has been viewed by
employers more often. |
Monster.ca |
On this page you can create
your own "Monster", build your resume and personalize your
contents. In my opinion this page is simple to use (doesn't have as many
links and graphics as most websites) but not as effective as
workopolis.com. I like its option of career alert that emails me every day
with a reminder that new postings came up and I should take a look at
them. |
Careerclick.com |
Very useful job search
website. Most of jobs advertised here are from the press, Canadian newspapers. Tools like
resume builder and job alerts are good too. |
Calgaryjobs.net |
For those all of you who plan to work in Calgary, I found
this website an excellent tool. Impressive list of recruiters, local firms
that have openings, job banks and much more. |
Vancouver

Here you can find a complete

agency's website you will find information containing email address,
telephone number, fax number, etc. |
